ReThink Topeka

I haven't posted in a bit but I have good reason...I'm currently working on my ReThink Topeka project.

ReThink Topeka is a movement to get people in and around Topeka Kansas to rethink how Topeka is perceived. Unfortunately, Topeka is often times viewed as a lifeless town without unique, fun things to do. But the art community is trying to change that. Printmaker, artist Justin Marable came up with ReThink Topeka to encourage area artists, writers, musicians and creative minded people to come up with ways to show how we can rethink Topeka. Awww...aren't they just too cute! I just love these sweet little bird salt and pepper shakers. They were a birthday gift from a dear friend. Aren't they just adorable?

Happy Labor Day

Hi again! Hope you are all having a wonderful Labor Day. I've been busy lately preparing for an upcoming art fair scheduled for the end of September...stay tuned for more details. I've also been adding some more items to the shop. Other than that, I've just been trying to relax and enjoy the 3 day weekend. Hope you are too! Here are some pretty images I captured recently. Summer Night

There's nothing better than a cold glass of sangria on a warm summer night shared with good friends. Thought this turned out to be a great artistic photograph that captured exactly what was going on.
