The Birdhouse Project

I seemed to have failed to mention to you all a BIG project that I was involved in a couple of months ago. I designed the cover for a book called The Birdhouse Project...which my hubby, Mr. Fooka helped write and edit!




How exciting is that?! I designed the cover for an actual book that is in stores, on the shelf available for purchase and of course online too. And what's even more exciting is that there is a second book due out in May and they asked me to design the cover for it too! Here is a sneak peak:

Okay, it's no secret that I LOVE to use type in my designs, especially my digital illustrations. I just can't help it. It just adds another element to the design and often times creates depth or texture. Besides that it's just plain fun! But these talented artists have taken it to a another level of fun.
