A lot of new things have been appearing in my shop. During the recent 2 day cleaning extravaganza in my studio, I came across some exciting treasures to use in recycled and upcycled projects.
I found some cool vintage style postcards I have been holding on to for years. I was finally inspired enough to cut them up and create some fun 5x7 collages. Made with pencil, ink and paper, now available here.
I also came accross my never ending supply of paper scraps (you artists & crafters out there know what I'm talking about). I finally put the scraps to good use by creating upcycled mini books. Using upcycled cardboard and bound with different found materials (twine, hooks, clips, brads etc.), these mini books are the perfect eco friendly item. Now available here.
More projects to come with fun finds from my studio...stay tuned!

your upcycle books are great!
I love those postcards! Off to look at your shop :)
I love what you've done with the postcards, they look great.
I also know about this never ended supply of scrap paper, I've been meaning to do the same as you and make little books to get them all used up but its just one of those things I've never got around to. yours look great though :)
Oh, do I know about scrap paper, if I can crawl out from under it I am sure, I might be able to create something, but like i said until i can crawl out. Your upcycle books came out great!
Lu:)
thanks everyone! :)
Love the upcycled books! I've wanted to do some little glass marbles with snippets from brand name ads -- ads for items that go in the fridge, on a bubble magnet *for* the fridge(I'm a little dorky that way).
